International (non Jordanian ) and Jordanian students holding foreign secondary certificates (such as the British GCE, SAT, International Baccalaureate or American High School Diploma…etc) can be accepted at the University of Jordan after he/she obtains the equivalence of his/her certificate from The Ministry of Education in Jordan (visit the Ministry of Education/Authentication and Equivalence of Certificates Section to find out about the rules, conditions and requirements for certificate equalization). Average and stream of the equivalent degree will determine areas of study. Admission for students holding foreign certificates is divided into two parts:
1. Jordanian students, can apply in three ways:
A. Submit an application to “The Unified Admission Coordination Committee” in August directly to public universities, at the Admission and Registration Unit at each university ( Exam results Issued to date must be submitted along with an authenticated copy of the Civil Identification Card and a Five JDs receipt paid at the Unit of Financial Affairs
B. Apply for the Parallel Program (see the parallel program page).
C. Apply for the International Program
International (non-Jordanian), students can be admitted at the International Program
* Students can end up the admission process after receiving the rest of their grades results at the end of August.
